1. What PeakPost Does

PeakPost is a TikTok analytics tool that helps creators understand when their audience is most active. We connect to your TikTok account via the official TikTok Login Kit and read follower activity and engagement data so we can recommend the best times to post.

2. Information We Collect

  • TikTok profile data: your display name, username, profile picture, and follower count — so we can show you who is logged in.
  • Follower activity: hour-by-hour follower-online statistics provided by TikTok's Research API.
  • Post performance: views, likes, comments, and shares for your recent videos (last 30), plus their publish timestamps.
  • Session cookies: a signed session cookie ("pp_session") that keeps you logged in. We do not store passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Calculate the best posting windows by correlating follower activity with your historical engagement.
  • Cache your data for up to 6 hours so the dashboard loads quickly on repeat visits.
  • Display your profile and recent post stats inside the PeakPost dashboard.

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database managed by Supabase. Access is restricted to server-side code only — no database credentials are exposed to the browser. All communication between your browser and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. TikTok API & Data Retention

We call TikTok's official APIs on your behalf using an access token you grant via TikTok Login Kit. You can revoke PeakPost's access at any time from your TikTok account settings. If you do, we will no longer be able to refresh your data, but cached data may remain in our database for up to 30 days before automatic deletion.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at support@getpeakpost.xyz. We will process deletion requests within 7 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard or via email if you have provided one.
